Uber is now driving into one of the busiest cities in America.

A few days ago San Francisco based Uber launched its carpooling service on the congested freeways of Los Angeles. Called UberPool the service allows people to on similar routes to travel together and split the cost. It will match two users per ride, but allows each user to bring an extra person. Waze

Commuters are finding new ways to avoid traffic, and homeowners are trying to throw a few speed bumps in their way.

Waze is an app that helps people navigate their way through traffic. People type in their destination address and the app shows them any obstacles in their way. And those obstacles are updated by other Waze users traveling the same route.

But for people in one of the most congested cities in the country the app is nothing but another road block. They say when traffic is backed up on the freeways the app directs people to the side streets. That means the road outside their homes is bumper to bumper traffic.  read more »
