After a 40 year drought the Golden State Warriors are NBA champs; and it has been a plentiful final series.

On Tuesday night the warriors put away the Cleveland Cavaliers in game six of the finals. And it was a victory for fans, the city of Oakland and the NBA. Game six was played in Cleveland but a watch party was held in Oakland at Oracle arena. Once it became clear the warriors would win, fans swarmed to the team store to snatch up championship hats and shirts.  read more »

The NBA finals are underway; and everyone is scoring.

This weekend is game two of the matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This marks the first time in 40 years the Warriors have seen the finals and it is another chance for the Cavaliers and LeBron James to win a championship.

The faceoff between the two teams couldn't be a better money maker for the NBA. James and the Warriors point guard Stephen Curry lead the league in jersey sales. Curry was just named NBA MVP while James is considered the best player on the court.  read more »

A Golden Offer

A player with the Golden State Warriors is hoping to score with fans.

Twenty two year old Harrison Barnes is a small forward for the Warriors. Since being drafted to the team two years ago his talent and popularity have continued to rise. Now he is trying a new tactic to connect with fans and give them a piece of his celebrity status. So Barnes has set up a PO Box where people can send an item that they want signed. But there are some guidelines fans have to follow.

You must enclose a signed handwritten letter with a sincere explanation about why you want the item signed. You must also include a picture of yourself and return packing and postage. He is also refusing to sign some items that include gear from Duke University, non-Adidas shoes and contracts.  read more »
