The lap of luxury can now be found at thirty five thousand feet.

Etihad airways recently unveiled the new cabins on its Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner passenger jets. And if you’ve ever wanted to fly with the comforts of home; then this is your ride.

For its Airbus A380 passengers can book a three room VIP suite with its own living room, double bedroom and shower. The space sits in the upper deck cabin and will be available for one or two people. Airline Fees

Airlines are introducing more fees; but passengers might actually get on board with these ones.

Revenue from baggage fees and reservation changes is tapering off so airlines are introducing another way to line their pockets. But instead of charging you for necessary services these are meant to give you a taste of the good life.

For example airlines are now renting out Apple iPads pre-loaded with movies, selling hot first class meals in coach and letting passengers pay to have an empty seat next to them. But it doesn't stop there.  read more »

This holiday season airlines are splurging on their customers; but only if you’re part of a certain class.

It’s one of the busiest travel times of the year and while most passengers will spend the time purchasing pillows and looking for leg room; it’s getting even better for those in first class. According to the International Air Transport Association first class and business class passengers only make up 8% of international travelers. But that 8%of high end travelers brings in 27% of annual revenue. Airline analysts say there is now a war going on to cater to the profitable passengers and extra perks are the bait.  read more »
