Stressful Cities

Feeling a little stressed; blame your zip code.

No matter where you live chances are you’re worried about your job, or paying the bills or getting stuck in traffic. But some people have it worse than others and it’s taking a toll on their blood pressure.

To find out where most of the country’s stress is living, the Movoto real estate blog took a closer look at big cities and the mental health of the people that call them home. To rank each city the blog looked at factors such as commute time, unemployment and cost of living. The higher any of those factors; the more stressful the city.

And despite what people think about New York it did not take the top spot. Instead that honor went to our nation’s capital. The blog says that’s because most people there work more than 40 hours a week. On top of that they’re dealing with long commute times and hefty price tags. To see if your city made the list check the link below. Looks like home might not be so sweet.
